Founded in 1962 under the Catholic mission, Mankong Centre Primary School has educated entire generations of children from the Mambila-Koutine community.
Today it has six functioning classrooms, a library rehabilitated with MACUDA funding, and a renovated play area. Teachers benefit from regular pedagogical training sessions coordinated by the association.
The pass rate for the Primary School Leaving Certificate has remained above 90% since 2019, placing the school among the best in the district.
