ABOUT
In detail
Nibang-nket is one of Bamunkumbit’s major traditional sites. Located beside the market and the palace entrance, this round hut is built of bamboo mats and topped with a plant-covered roof. It is considered a protector of the village and is consulted before other great shrines.
The site also recalls the unification of the nine original villages under a single chiefdom and the customary institutions that have preserved order and solidarity.
