Banka Maternity and Child Health Centre was established in 1988 to address the health emergency of high maternal and infant mortality in rural areas of the plateau.
With constant MACUDA support, the facility received a modern delivery table, a neonatal incubator and a high-risk pregnancy follow-up kit in 2022. A community health worker trained by the association makes home visits to pregnant women who cannot travel.
