ABOUT
In detail
Tibati District Hospital is not managed by MACUDA, but it is the reference hospital to which all serious cases from the Mankong community are referred.
The association has maintained a referral partnership with the hospital since 2010. Each year MACUDA funds:
- Emergency transport (ambulance or chartered vehicle) for medical evacuations
- Partial or full hospitalisation costs for families without resources
- Purchase of specialised medicines unavailable locally
Since 2022, a general practitioner from the diaspora has made two missions per year to the hospital for specialist consultations, prioritising patients referred from Mankong.
