ABOUT
In detail
Bidou Dispensary is often the only accessible health facility for hundreds of families living in bush hamlets more than 15 km from Mankong Centre.
Running with a community health worker trained and supervised by the Tibati health district, it mainly treats malaria, respiratory infections, wounds and trauma, and follows diabetic or hypertensive patients on long-term treatment.
MACADA funds quarterly restocking of essential medicines and has equipped the dispensary with solar panels for lighting and vaccine cold-chain maintenance.
