Government Technical College (GTC) Bamunkumbit was created in 2014 with the first principal called Mr Aboseh Andrew Ayibua. Other institutions like the Bamunkumbit Literacy Centre (BLC) or Adult School and the Bamunkumbit Community Evening School (BCES) have seen the light of day before their unfortunate closure. The Bamunkumbit Community Secondary School opened its doors again due to the advent of the socio-political crisis in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon.
